There are two orientation weeks that you are able to attend if you are a resident. Residence Orientation is a series of events throughout the week designed for you to meet other residents, feel comfortable in your new home and bridge the gap between your academic orientation and Humber Student Federation (HSF) Orientation events. A typical day during Orientation week will have a specific school's academic orientation, a Residence Orientation event (for residents only) and then a night event hosted by HSF.
Orientation events are not mandatory however it is recommended! Your academic Orientation will help provide insight into your program and the opportunity to meet class mates. Residence Orientation will give you a chance to meet people you will be living with over the next eight months, and the HSF events are a great opportunity to have some fun at night and meet other students from all programs and living situations.
Because events are free, you do not have to register, we leave it open for all students to come and go as they please. On campus Orientation has a registration site that helps them determine appropriate numbers for their events. It is in your best interest to register with them.

The Humber Students’ Federation (HSF) is known for legendary social events. This year during orientation week, HSF will be hosting four FUN, free and fabulous events just for first year students.

During Orientation week, August 29 to September 1 we will be holding a TON of FREE socials to celebrate the end of summer and the start of a great new school year for you. Be sure to come out to our events and get into the Humber spirit!
